Default External MX server and localdomains file

    Hi All!

I have read many suggestions in previous posts about specifying an external mail server in the WHM Zone edit, removing the domain name from the /etc/localdomains and adding it to /etc/remotedomains

This works and mail generated from a form on my website is directed to the external mail server.

However, overnight the domain is readded to the localdomains file and mail generated on the form is sent to the default address associated with the cpanel account the domain is hosted on.

Can anyone tell me what would be readding the domain back into the localdomains file after it has been removed.

    Thank you.

I'd double check to be sure that the domain is in /etc/remotedomains

As long as it's in there, it should never be added back to /etc/localdomains
