Default Extracting emails from CPanel Backups

Recently I've had the need to download my emails from my webhost server to my computer, however rather than using POP, I tried finding a way to download the emails as .eml files and at the advice of my host, I created a full Cpanel backup of my server, however when sorting through the backups I can't find my emails.

While I have a feeling they're in the backup because the size matches, there are too many folders for me to sort through, so I wanted to know if Cpanel uses a standard path for storage of each email account.

    Thanks very much in advance,

Thanks for the info. At first I tried that directory and it was empty, but then I noticed below the folders there was a .tar file with my host user name, and from there I checked the directory you mentioned and found the files.

    Thanks very much!
