Try doing /scripts/upcp --force in shell to update, I know there was a recent update which removed the Fantastico icon.

since i migrated cpanel to a new server, fantastico has disappeared and I can't see it in the feature list.

any ideas?

You really should go to http://netenberg.com/forum/

The fix (until Fantastico 2.9 is released) is noted (#5) in the gray box on the index page of the forum.

That should get you going again.
