Fantastico Error ???

Hi,

I have linux server. i have installed fantastico on the server and when i click on fantastico i m getting following error upper side of fantastico

Please guide me ......

Is this in WHM or from within cPanel?

Check your php.ini for disabled_functions, you probably have shell_exec listed there.

Hi,

When i click on Cpanel > fantastico and i m getting this error upper side on the fantastico.

Yes i have disabled this function due to security issue.so i want to know why i m getting this error i have set this function as disable list on other servers and there is fantastico running fine without any error.

It there any updates in WHM/Cpanel or its our server configuration problem.

Please help me.

What is difference between /usr/local/lib/php.ini file and /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/etc/php.ini file.

you mean to says cpanel read /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/etc/php.ini this php.ini file right ?

I think this one is probably the one of the two you listed above. http://www.netenberg.com/forum/index.php?topic=6795.0

Netenberg blames cPanel when in fact it should be something that thier installer checks or notes to the installing person to correct this issue. So Netenberg in several of the fourm posts tells people to seek help from cPanel.
