    Default Fantastico w/ Blue Lagoon

One of my servers upgraded to the 9.7.7-R15 Release Build of WHM / CPanel last night and now Fantastico no longer shows up on the Blue Lagoon theme.

I'm trying to downgrade to the latest stable build (one of my other servers is using that successfully).

Has anyone else had this problem?

First check a different theme to ensure that it will show up in that one. 'x' theme is the default and will automatically detect Fantastico. If it shows up in there, then add a symlink to the Blue Lagoon theme. That should sovle the problem.

Lightbulb Upgrade removes Fantastico symlinks in Bluelagoon/Monsoon

This is in fact a new bug with the new RELEASE build, I submitted a bug report when it was still just a CURRENT/EDGE build, but they just seemed to ignore it.

The upgrade removes the symlinks in both bluelagoon and monsoon themes.

After another upgrade, the problem came back, so I am switching to the X2 theme.

Bluelogoon/Mansoon are not maintained by cPanel. Any support tickets will tell you the same.
The only cPanel supported themes are x and x2

That's why I use my own skins and manual updates. Each time I update, I check for modifications that need to be passed on.

Bailey, I couldn't agree more. What's the point of including non-supported cPanel skins if they're not going to be kept up to date (bluelagoon was up to a few months ago). Guess we'll have to move to the inferior X ones

    That could be a problem:
    Name: bluelagoon
    Author: cPanel
    Price: free
Now, down below that it does say:
cPanel is not responsible for any aspect of third party scripts/themes.
But since the Author is apparently cPanel, then that's not a third-party. So this is certainly news to me that cPanel are no longer going to support their own theme!

Yea, I remember when they stopped supporting blue lagoon once before. I came out with a free version called xLagoon and within a few weeks cpanel produced and lauched an x version of bluelagoon. Now, we are being told one again that they are not going to update or support bluelagoon. I just don't understand that logic behind this. Stop supporting or updating things without telling your clients. That is crazy. Bluelagoon is the only one of the x themes with the functions grouped in a coherent manner. Why would you stop supporting this unique and logical layout?

It's just rediculous. They ought to be supporting it, but since they're not, I went ahead and moved on to using RVSkin.

I'd still very much like to offer BlueLagoon or even Monsoon as a theme option for cPanel for specific clients that do not want to use RVSkin, but there's no point if they're not going to be updated.

If this is going to be cPanel's stance, then cPanel needs to make an effort to better organize those themes. They are chaotic at best. They are the most disorganized themes that come installed with cPanel.

Actually, I believe someone else created them, submitted them to cPanel and then gave up their rights to copyright. cPanel then took them over and refined them, but now refuses to update and acknowledge their usefulness.

however we dropped support for it when X and X2 came out. As I stated it is not maintained.
