    I did install cpanel on vps, and after finishing all the configuration settings and other woods I tried to check in cpanel and look something like this: [a fatal error or timeout occurred while processing this directive].
    Unable to locate httpd.conf at /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/ConfigFiles.pm line 27.

    Previously, when I install cpanel on vps other had not been like this.

    @cPtechie

    I've done that you suggest it, but the result is the same.
    I've also tried using PHP5.2.9, PHP5.3.3, and now PHP5.3.4 with cPanel / WHM Ver.11.28.83, but the result is the same.

    and the "web optimase" in cpanel is also not there, I have enabled deflate

    Are you sure that mod_deflate is present in httpd -l and httpd -M commands? If it is present you may have to enable it in feature manager. Regarding the other issue can you open a ticket with cPanel? Don't forget to post the fix here. Cheers!

    I don't thinks its inter related. Whether the issue has been resolved or not? Can you try some other cPanel theme?
