Default Fedora Core 1 or Core 2?

I'm currently running Fedora Core 1 with cPanel on a single P4 2.8GHz - 1GB RAM. It runs fine without any problems for hosting forums and photo galleries.

Would an upgrade now to Core 2 be worth it? What are the benefits?

Core 1 is being EOL'd already so there will be many advantages of 2. I am going to try the test version of 3 as 2 will not install on my backup server I use it for.
