You can upgrade now, only problems I have found are with buildapache,

due to xfree support being removed from fedora and it being replaced with xorg GD and imagemagick won't work,

Im looking into fixing this currently, but is defiently something that needs to be addressed in buildapache.

There are some very nice features of Fedora Core 2 including the 2.6.5 kernel but there are a few other issues including buildapache that you need to be aware of before upgrading:

    - the upgrade replaces CPanels imapd with cyrus-imapd. You will need to put cpanels binary back into place (/usr/sbin/imapd)
    - logwatch reports connections to courier-mta though it looks like cppop is running; this didn't happen under FC1 so still researching this one to see what the upgrade does to pop connections
    - /scripts/upcp will have a few problems until CPanel adds support for Fedora Core 2

    Code:
PHP version file is up to date
Cpanel updates are coming from layer2.cpanel.net
    passwd: Unknown user name 'xfs'.
    Locking password for user daemon.
