    Default File Manager CHMOD

We are having an issue on all of our sites. When a user is using file manager and attempts to change permissions on a file, after hitting submit, it just resets to the original file permissions.

If you do a locate changeperm.html and edit that file in the skin you are using from:

    <b><cpanelFileman="changeperm

    to

    <b><cpanel Fileman="changeperm

it will work fine. (Not original, I found it in a search on these forums.)

I made that change to all the changeperm.html files on my box, but the problem still exists.

    Any other ideas?

Worked on my servers... This needed to be changed on all of them.

Make sure you get the right changeperm file.. there looks to be one for each skin.

This worked for me, however when viewing perm.html it seems that the checks are moved one row to the left. This leaves the group checks in the user row and the world checks in the group row with 0 in the world row. Anyone know a fix for this?

    - x Skin

Yah.. I found this error also. Happens on all of my servers on all the new versions of the X skin it seems. I submitted a trouble ticket about 4 days ago. They said they see whats happening and are working on a fix.
