File manager freezes in cpanel

When I log in with different accounts, everytime I try to change rights of the files (not straight the numbers, but with the tool) or use similar tools it freezes to the gray picture. Some of the similar tools work though like renaming. I have tried different browsers and it's the same way. My friend has a linux and it works fine with that ( I have a vista). So it seems that the problem is with my computer... what to do?

I would recommend trying to clear your cache/cookies on your browser.
