Default File manager html editor characters

    Hello,

I'm testing the html editor in the file manager, it looks great.

    Problem:

When entering typical norwegian characters, they convert into something like this:

    øæå

What can I do to correct this ?

    I'm using:

    cPanel Build 11.2.7-CURRENT_11845 - And x3 Skin

    Default formatting

How are you formatting these characters in HTML?

They should be formatted properly and compliant, as follows:

    result / html
    æ / æ
    ø / ø
    å / å
    Æ/ Æ
    Ø / Ø
    Å / Å

Yes, is't formatted just like that. Well at least in dreamveaver.
The charakters shows up just as they should in the editor. It's when I save the document it converts to these strange characters.

NO. At least not yet. It appears to be a double-encoding issue. We upgraded the HTML Editor to the newest version, which is the first step along this road long laid, the next is fixing the actual issue. YOu can track the bug, report ifno, vote on it here: http://bugzilla.cpanel.net/show_bug.cgi?id=1023
