Filter Maintenance weirdness

Hi all -

I am having a mail problem, it seems that I can't delete filters that were set up in mail manager for one of my accounts in the mail que they are coming up as routing defer (-51):

I checked some other accounts , and most don't have block email filters enabled.

The attachment shows the filters that won't delete, I have no idea how she got the first one, but I think it is the one blocking all the emails :?

Any help would be great

Thanks

Filters are stored in two places. Depending upon the skin you are using they may have to removed manually from:

/home/user/.filter
/etc/vfilters/domain.com

Hopefully cP will fix this so that they are deletable from the the control panel in all skins.

If I remember correctly it only works properly in bluelagoon and/or x2.

This is an old thread, but spooky stuff going on here too.

There's a single filter in place that says this in cPanel:

$message_body contains "Content-Type: text/plain;"

Looking at /home/user/.filter I see this:

$message_body contains "Content-Type: text/plain;"+++++++/dev/null

The scary things are:
1. No-one knows who put this filter in there
2. The effect it has is to discard all incoming email (not good!)
3. I deleted it yesterday, but I come into work again today to find that it had reappeared.

Does this stink of a kiddy script or what?

Deleting it again now, and will keep a closer eye on it. If anyone else has anything to add, please fire away.

Apologies! False alarm. It turns out someone WAS inadvertantly adding this filter. I've just hunted them down and hurt them. Please disregard everything I've said above. Sorry!
