Cool Folder issues with folder called "icons"

a user has just asked me why there pictures in a folder called icons doesn't allow
the pictures to be accessed, I scratched my head and looked at all the normal idiot stuff and came back to the folder, and yes they are correct

if I rename it to icon or icon1 it works fine, but as icons no access to the pictures
    can be obtained

I hav esearched and can not find any cpanel issue with this, anyone else got any ideas

    regards

    Hello,

'icons' is a global alias that is used by apache, try going to http://your.servername.com/icons/ to see the icons installed.

    They are at /usr/local/apache/icons/

If you don't want this behaviour, then edit httpd.conf and remove the references to icons.
