    Default Forcing MOD_SSL startup

Does anyone know how to make it so the startup of httpd is defaulted to being -DSSL ? Sometimes on a few of my servers, the apache would crash, and one of my programs would restart it OR Cpanel itself will. What happens when cpanel starts it up is that it will restart it without the SSL. Causing downtime for the application.

I would like to modify the init.d or something to make it forcibly start up with ssl as default. I have no need for a non-ssl server. Any help is appreciated.

You can edit /etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd or just use /scripts/restartsrv_httpd (which will start ssl).

    Hi,

Simply give "/etc/init.d/httpd startssl " to start httpd with ssl support.
