    Default FP and Cpanel problem

I can FTP my site to my server, but I cannot publish it using FP XP or 2000.

I have unistalled/re-installed the FP extensions and still no luck.

I am getting the following errors when trying to publish:

YOU DO NOT HAVE PERMISSION TO DO THIS OPERATION. ASK YOUR WEBSITE ADMINISTRATOR TO CHANGE YOUR PERMISSIONS AND TRY AGAIN.

    Sometimes I also get a

    SECURITY VIOLATION

    warning.

    Any ideas?

    Tnx

    Jeff

Do you have root on the box or just a client?

Sorry - not sure what you mean?

I am not the server admin, but a user with access to my domain via CPanel.

Now able to post using FP

    I did the following:

    Problem solved (so far).

I CHMOD a file called 'service.pwd' from 600 to 664 in the _vti_pvt folder and it seems to be working.

    See

    Hope it works for you.
