    Default [FreeBSD] pure-ftpd failed

I think because of nightly upcp...?

Today, a lot of customers were complaining they can't FTP some of their domains.

    I restarted pure-ftpd, and failed...

    Hello,

    Try the script

    /scripts/ftpup pure-ftpd --force

And Check. If you get any error message, Paste it here.

    rm -rf /root/.cpbsdpkgs

    If that doesn't work

Upgrade to a supported version of freebsd (one that freebsd still supports) 5.2.1 is no longer supported.. get 5.3

    or

rm -f /var/cpanel/usebsdpkgs to force cpanel to build from ports.

just don't understand that a few hours ago pure-ftpd were working.
after dealing with GD perl thing, couldn't access FTP, and restarted pure-ftpd, then got broke...
    Proftpd is working fine...

    hope someone can fix it...

    Hi Nick,

We spent some time today looking into the cause of this issue, and have raised a ticket with you, number: 108018. This may save you some time and hopefully you can change the code causing the issue.

    Best regards,

    Craig.

They can access cPanel, but not FTP, get "Error on password: Authentication failed, sorry"...

    tried:
    touch /etc/passwd
    /scripts/updateuserdomains
    /scripts/ftpup --force
    restarted pure-ftpd
    WHM ---> Synchronize FTP Passwords
    changing password

    none of them work...
