    Default Frontpage Error .. Help..

Recently, I had server Ip blocked by RS due to DOS atttack on my server, but I was not aware for a while as we didnt get email suddenly from RS,
So, I tried many things including upgrading stunnel and glibc
Then RS informed us and in few days the ip was removed and everything was fine.
But after that upgrade of Glibc and stunnel, FP & pop server seems to be broken

I get this when i uninstall FP:

    Scanning httpd.conf.Done
    Removing .htaccess files

    Starting uninstall, port: 80.

Error: There is no web named "".
The version (unknown) of the server extensions you are trying to uninstall cannot be uninstalled with this tool. You must upgrade this virtual server to the current version, and then use owsadm.exe to uninstall.

and when installing I get this error:

Frontpage 4 installer called when we really want 5 ..
Attempting to pass request to frontpage 5 installer....
    Frontpage 5 installer loaded ok..
    Scanning httpd.conf.Done
    Removing .htaccess files
Note: Local version of Apache must use the FrontPage Apache patch.
    Starting install, port: www.xxx.com.

    Creating web http://www.xxx.com.
    Chowning Content in service /.
Cannot chown content: user xxx does not exist.
Cannot chown content: group xxx does not exist.
Error #2005d Message: The server extensions were unable to access the file "service.cnf". Please check the file permissions.
(OS Error #13 Message: Permission denied)
Error: The server extensions were unable to access the file "service.cnf". Please check the file permissions.

    ====
I am not sure whats wrong, I did /scripts/upcp
easyapache and sysup all related to FP but no good.

I was wondering if someone with more input on cpanel could help me out finding a solution.

    Thanks

try uninstall twice then install, worked for me with that error.

actually that seems to work for 90% of FP errors

I don't know if any of these will help, but here's a list of some fp-related cPanel scripts:
    checkfpkey*
    downgradefp*
    fetchfpexec*
    fixfpwml*
    fixfrontpageperm*
    fp-auth*
    fp3*
    fpanonuserpatch*
    fpbtr*
    fpfakeout.c
    fpfakeout.so*
    fpsuexec*
    fpsuexec2*
    fpsuexec3*
    fpupgrade*
    initfpsuexec*
    installfpfreebsd*
    installfpgentoo*
    setupfp*
    setupfp4*
    setupfp5*
    unsetupfp4*
    updatefrontpage*
    Good luck!
