    Default FrontPage Extensions not working

For some reason on our server, only one domain is having trouble with FrontPage extensions, which just happens to be ours.

When I try access the site from FP, I get the following message:

The server sent a response which FrontPage could not parse. If you are trying to connect to a Windows SharePoint Services server, check the server's administrator to make sure Windows SharePoint Services is installed properly.
If I uninstall the extensions, I get the following message:

    Starting uninstall, port: 80.

Error: There is no web named "".
The version (unknown) of the server extensions you are trying to uninstall cannot be uninstalled with this tool. You must upgrade this virtual server to the current version, and then use owsadm.exe to uninstall.

    Cleaning up .htaccess files...Done
Frontpage was uninstalled on the domain: domain.com
Were not even on a windows server - how do you run owsadm.exe lol?

And when I install them again, I get the following message:

    Starting install, port: 80.

    Creating web http://domain.com.
Error: The server extensions were unable to access the file ".htaccess". Please check the file permissions.

    Setting Password
Frontpage passthough auth enabled in /home/username/public_html!
Frontpage was installed on the following domains: domain.com
So does anybody know whats wrong? Or know how I could possibly give the domain the FP version or something?

    Thanks for any help!

I would first ensure FrontPage extensions are (re-)installed for the primary domain of the account, then access the FrontPage administration page to check for possible errors; here is related documentation detailing this further:
    FrontPageSupport < EasyApache3 < TWiki

The URL for the FrontPage administration area is in the following format:
    Code:
    http://www.domain.tld/_vti_bin/_vti_adm/fpadmcgi.exe
Our support is 24/7 in case you would like us to take a deeper look at the specific issue affecting the single account; if the documentation suggestion does not help alleviate the symptoms I believe we can better assist once a ticket is submitted due to the complexity of what all could potentially break FrontPage Extensions.

Just as a little test, try connecting to the site's FP webadmin page:

    http://DOMAINNAME.COM/_vti_bin/_vti_...e=webadmin.htm

Just replace the DOMAINNAME.COM. The login would be your cPanel username and password. If Frontpage Extensions are working correctly, you should get the Extensions Admin page.
