ftp backup again

i think this is one of the most discussed issues here.

ftp backups work only for daily, not weekly and monthly.
i searched these forums, and everybody is having problems, but no one has any solution.

Has anyone posted a bug report on cpanel about this? i can't do that, cose i bought my licence from another provider, as an external licence.
