ftp connection timeout

one of our customer when use ftp , before finishing his job this error apear :

connect timeout

how can i increase the ftp timeout of this host ?

Hi Mahdionline,

You can increase your FTP timeout value in the /etc/proftpd.conf file.

eg:
timeout 900

hi

i see the etc folder, but i use pure-ftpd server in my server and when i check the pure-ftpd.conf for timeout with pico,
i don't find any command about timeout and just see a time for max idle time !
