    Default FTP Upload Issue

    Hi there,

When uploading files through various FTP clients, the file will upload completely but acknowledgement of the file being successfully received by the server is not being sent.

On files on or about 10Mb they are being accepted and successfully stored, with the FTPd returning a '[R] 226-File successfully transferred'. However, when larger files are transferred the file is uploaded and stored successfully, but no '[R] 226-File successfully transferred' is given to my FTP client.

I have tried switching to ProFTPd but to no avail. It still acts the same way.

If you could help that would be great.

    Thanks,

This is a log, file.exe ~17MB uploaded to a PureFTPd server, from Total Commander:

    227 Entering Passive Mode (...)
    STOR file.exe
    150 Accepted data connection
    Upload: 17,176,744 bytes, 481.4 kbytes/s
    226-File successfully transferred
226 32.345 seconds (measured here), 0.51 Mbytes per second
    Copied (07/03/2008 3:54:08 PM): \path\file.exe -> ftp://domain/public_ftp/test/file.exe 17,176,744 bytes, 516.6 kbytes/s
    Get directory
    TYPE A
    200 TYPE is now ASCII
    PASV
    227 Entering Passive Mode (...)
    LIST
    150 Accepted data connection

What FTP Client are you using? Give us a log or smthg.
    Cheers.
