ftpserver: [ != 220] ftpserver has failed

I have tried /scripts/ftpup --force, /scripts/ftpup pure-ftpd --force and /scripts/ftpup --force pure-ftpd

I have tried switching to ProFTP, the back to pure... neither worked.


Immediately prior to this becoming unable to work, I rebooted Linux

In case it helps anyone else, it appears that both pureFTP and ProFTP were trying to start on the same port.

I thought that WHM would enable one or the other, but apparently both were starting and canceling each other out.

Ah, good to know! You're using PureFTP, right?
