    Im not sure what this relates to, but looks like mod_security, however I dont remember there being this perl script for it. I looked at the DB info inside, and connected to the DB, and that database is empty which is why im getting these errors. Anyone else encountered this?

    mysql> use modsec
    Database changed
    mysql> show tables;
    Empty set (0.00 sec)

    mysql>

    Exclamation Modsec Failed

    I get this:
    /etc/cron.hourly/modsecparse.pl:

    DBI connect('modsec:localhost','modsec',...) failed: Access denied for user 'modsec'@'localhost' (using password: YES) at /etc/cron.hourly/modsecparse.pl line 18

    Hourly. No Idea why.

    Exclamation Creating 40 byte hash

    Ok I just figured something out.

    When this was installed on the original server, it had a 15 byte hashed password. The new server uses the NEW method of 40 byte hash. So, how to I turn something into a hash so I change the password on teh db and in the script that logs mod_security in?
