getting ndc errors

hi when i try to delete dns or add domain i get

ndc: connect failed: connection refused

what can that mean??

Go into ssh
cd /scripts

./fixndc

That should correct the error.

ok..I done that

[/scripts]# ./fixndc
Found key in named.conf ..
Found controls in named.conf ..
named.conf has already been fixed!



and still see this in the WHM

Redhat 9 has rndc-key instead of rndckey in named.conf, just remove the dash

edit /etc/named.conf
find all instances of rndc-key and change to rndckey

Then restart bind.
