    Default Good or bad

Is it safe for users to have access to /proc/* ?
One client was telling me that it wouldn't be good to cPanel users to have access to cat /proc/*

Is that true and how can it be disabled?

No, it would most certainly not be a good idea to allow direct user access to /proc - it's basically your servers running configuration and allowing access would be a nice big security risk.
