Hello,

A customer asked if it is possible to run GoogleTap for phpnuke. Basicly its needs mod_rewrite on and in the httpd.conf file AllowOveride set to ON. Does anyone see any security/stability problems with changing these settings?

mod_rewrite is probably already compiled with your apache. Why not let your client just set the AllowOveride in his .htaccess file
