greek letters not showing when using file manager

hi there ,

i recently translated all my forum's scripts and files from english to greek , and then i realised that when i tried to re-edit those files using cpanel's file manager all the greek letters were gone ! actually they were showing as series of numbers , so re-editing is not possible anymore !

is there any way to bring those files back to greek , and , is there anything i can do to prevent this from happening again ? i guessed it was a matter of cpanel's encoding or something like that , so if there is any way to make file manager support greek plz tell me !

thnx in advance !

Out of curiosity, what version and build of cPanel/WHM are you using?

I'd recommend upgrading to cPanel 11 as there are now better safeguards in place with regards to character encoding.

I'm not sure if the latest updates have propagated to our RELEASE build yet, I do know they're not yet in the STABLE build.
