grpck causing huge loads

    Default grpck causing huge loads

    started getting huge loads on one server and the process list shows:

    Top Process %CPU 91.3 /usr/sbin/grpck -r
    Top Process %CPU 90.0 /usr/sbin/grpck -r

    anyone have any ideas as to why grpck would do this?

    i thought the FC2 issues with grpck were long fixed?

    run chkrootkit/rkhunter. possible hacking.

    This can also happen if you delete / add an account. But then it shouldnt be there for long.

    not a hack as far as i can tell...

    but its the highest load process every day
