    Default Hacking

    Hello,

    I want to change the root directory where apache runs. For that I tried creating a new directory in root and copied all needed files or apache to run. But i am not able to start apache. Here is the error.

    /trap/usr/local/apache/bin/apachectl: line 80: -DSSL: command not found

    Please help me . I want to secure my server

    Hello,

    open your apachectl you will see

    if [ -e "/etc/chroothttpd" ]; then
    HTTPD=/usr/local/cpanel/bin/chroothttpd
    else
    HTTPD=/usr/local/apache/bin/httpd
    fi

    change to

    if [ -e "/etc/chroothttpd" ]; then
    HTTPD=/trap/usr/local/cpanel/bin/chroothttpd
    else
    HTTPD=/trap/usr/local/apache/bin/httpd
    fi

    /etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd: line 83: -DSSL: command not found
    /etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd start: httpd could not be started
