Hard drive mounted but still shows up in "Format/Mount a new Hard Drive"

I have already mounted a hard drive about two months ago and it still shows up in the "Format/Mount a new Hard Drive" section of the cPanel.

Now the problem is I had my server admins add another HD and now two HDs show up in "Format/Mount a new Hard Drive" section

Found Disk: hdb ALL DATA WILL BE LOST


Found Disk: sdb ALL DATA WILL BE LOST

I dont know which one is which. How can I distinguish this?

You need to format the drive and create the filesystem before you mount and use it. Are these working drives and do you have any data on them? If these are new drives that were attached, format them to use them.

BTW, what is the output of

fdisk -l

It will show you the size of the drives and will give you an idea which one is which...
