Question Help with downgrading cPanel WHM / setting up cron jobs

    Hi everyone,

My website has been frequently going down every hour (I am fairly inexperience with cPanel and suspect that the issue is caused by the 11.25 update)

I was hoping and will be very grateful if someone can provide me with some tips/instructions on how to do the following:

    1) How do I safely downgrade from version 11.25 to 11.24 (STABLE)

    2) After reading this thread http://forums.cpanel.net/f5/11-25-cu...ur-134281.html, I am planning to try out disabling log rotation and bandwidth updates from WHM. Does anyone know how to set up chron jobs for scheduled deletion of my logfile? (I am afraid that it will reach 2GB+)

    Thanks in advance,
    -Silvers

So that we can better diagnose and offer suggestions please elaborate with detail of the specific symptoms that are being experienced. Specifically, what is the error seen when testing the web site during the period of difficulty (both visually in a browser and via any log files being checked)?

What is the PHP handler? The following command will verify this information:
    Code:
    # /usr/local/cpanel/bin/rebuild_phpconf --current
What Apache MPM is being used, and is mod_mono installed in the Apache configuration? The following commands could be used to view the MPM, compiled-in modules, and dynamically-loaded modules:
    Code:
    # /usr/local/apache/bin/httpd -V
    # /usr/local/apache/bin/httpd -l
    # /usr/local/apache/bin/httpd -M
    # ls -ahl /usr/local/apache/libexec /usr/local/apache/modules
When the web site appears down, please use the following command to monitor the Apache logs; this should be followed by testing the site to reproduce the difficulty:
    Code:
    # tail -fvn0 /usr/local/apache/logs/*log
