I saw really no damned help in any of your posts.
Excuse my outburst but that made me very angry just to be laughed at and called an idiot and for what? I apoligise

Nothing in any of your post at all helped me the least bit I am inexperianced with these kinds of things but I know for sure that trojan is not on my machine.
Now please tell me how do I fix or get a new DNS server set up so I can get back to these certain seach sites and others.

Angry, I spent 3 posts trying to help you. In fact I told you exactly what the problem was. You came into this forum which in NO WAY has anything to do with your problem.

So ... go "feck" yourself you "feck" head!!!

What this has to do with is basically the person that wrote the Trojan ..wrote it to point all the hijacked traffci to his website. Well it just so happens that was a web hosting server that was using the cPanel product. When the web host deleted the web site the Trojan man was using .. it left the default cPanel page showing. So all these people seeing that cPanel page are thinking that this has something to do with cPanel when it does NOT. What the web host shoudl do is put up a page where that other account existed and explain to people what has happened. That this is all they need to do. Instead they see a page that just so happens to mention cPanel.

We could be real ass holes and suggest:

    1.) call your isp.
    2.) call google
    3.) call yahoo
    4.) call sub-search engine here
5.) or stop using search engines
    Or :

Get lost and stay the "feck" out of this forum!

But no ..we try to help people that won't listen and /or read our posts. They just bitch. I am just glad some of us understand.

Now, what you said in any of you posts in this thread did not help me at all I admit I am inexperianced in this field of computer technology but I really like to know of a way to fix this so I can get back to my seach sites and other sites I visit.

call your isp. Tell them their DNS server is pointing your search engines to something else, not the search engines. If your machine is NOT infected that is the problem. Your ISP. Good luck

cant he just use a new DNS server? didnt we say that like 20 posts ago?

calling an ISP is a pain in ass. its easier to just update where your system is calling DNS.....

    bah...

telling someone to use a different DNS server fopr their ISP connection is one thing. Telling them to go find one that supports pass through calls to all authorative servers is another. Then you have to tell them how to change it. The isp is serving him DNS. if that is the case then they need to know.

    Hi Angry,

Did you find a solution to this yet? I am finding people all over the place that are actually infected. Their antivirus software is NOT catching this at times.

This is Nick's answer to Verisign's adding wildcard records to all zones.

I am bewildered when i read this post.

    You know what.

Who ever has this problem really should not come here.

Come on. This is a problem not for CPANEL but your own PC and connection.

I think those who tried to help should be given a pat on the back. They sincerely want to help illeterate computer users only to get blasted.

I feel, if you are seeking help then LISTEN, LISTEN, LISTEN then ACTION. Don't go on this mode : DENY, DENY, DENY then ANGRY. Now that is dumb. Real dumb!

Kudos to those who tried to help. The internet community is as helpful as ever. To those who wanted help and yet do not wish to read and listen, well it is your lost.
