    Hi,

I sent my server 2 for a reboot on return named/bind will not start, I have try /scripts/fixnamed and /scrtipts/fixndc and it doesn't fix, have tryed manual starting it and it does not, in WHM when trying to restart I get this

    Attempting to restart bind
    Waiting for bind to restart.... . . . . . . . . . . finished.

/etc/rc.d/init.d/named: line 108: 4053 Segmentation fault /usr/sbin/rndc status bind status

    bind started ok

and on the Server Status I get

rpmdb: unable to join the environment error: db4 error(11) from dbenv->open: Resource temporarily unavailable error: cannot open Packages index using db3 - Resource temporarily unavailable (11) error: cannot open Packages database in /var/lib/rpm

    Any Help

Packages index using db3 - Resource temporarily unavailable (11) error: cannot open Packages database in /var/lib/rpm
Just trying to help brainstorm, but since you're getting that error, try
    /scripts/rpmup
    and then try restarting bind...

Ok Nick had suggested to try this in the cpanel part of this forum

    You might try

    rm -f /var/lib/rpm/__*

    and then
    rpm --rebuilddb
"DO THIS AT YOUR OWN WILL"

I guess today everyone is having an hard time with rpm.
