ok i got my host to reinstall it but where do i upload the index page so that my site is viewable

when i enter my site addy all i get is page cannot be displayed.

i put my nameservers in it almost a week ago and i still cannot get a main page to come up

i created a file in the public_html folder called index.html

is that the right place to put that file

or do i need to put it some where else.

ask you host to check the permissions on public_html for your account

sometimes on restore they are set wrong.

    yes index.html goes in public_html
