help with ssl on multiple domain

New to ssl and was wonderind do i have to purchase a ssl cert for every domain on my server. If not what are the options.

You can purchase one for your server and let people use that one.
I.e. https://server.domain.com/~user
In this case you would buy a cert for server.domain.com
Most clients, I have found, do not want to use this, however, since it looks a little unprofessional to have your order form on a different domain name. If they don't like that, however, the only other option is to put them on their own IP and order a cert for that particular domain.
Furthermore, even if they don't mind having a self-signed certificate (which you can create for free via WHM but must be renewed monthly), you must still put them on their own IP.
