help w/ spam being sent with an email forward

done a search here in the forums, cant seem to find anything that looks like the issue I am having..

I have an email forwarder, not even an email account for this email..

1000's of spam emails are being sent from ??? with this email forwarder that I use..

how can this be stopped if it can

Is the spam being sent to your forwarder or is it simply appearing to be sent from the address of your forwarder?

they have it being sent from our (well, looks that way in the emails) forwarder

Is it just the reply-to address or do other mail headers indicate the mail originates from your server?

I ask because there is a common form of spam called a "Joe Job" where the reply-to address is set to an individual's address (either your own and it is sent to you, or your address and sent to someone else).
