Default Hidden Files... where are they?

    First off, my site: http://www.kr580.com

Ok, so last night I switched hosters. My friend runs the new hosting site and is good with the stuff so I let him make a backup of my old place & upload it to my new place. Well he uploaded it and now we can't find the files. Today I go to my File Manager in cPanel and delete some pages that I wanted to get rid of. They delete fine but they still show up when I type in the URL. Example: http://www.kr580.com/kb.html ... That page is nowhere to be found on my list of files. I even let my friend log in and look around but he can't find them either.

Any ideas of where all these files are? I've looked in every folder in the File Manager and still nothing. What gives?

    Thanks - Kevin

Also, I downloaded a phpBB forum to my site and it says the installation went smoothly. I look in my File Manager... files are all there. Yet when I go to http://www.kr580.com/forum/ it says page not found.

So I guess this means my File Manager has no effect on my site after I think about it... so where could these files possibly be?

    Just a basic thought,
have you changed your name servers for this domain , so it'll point to the new host ?

    Yep.

And even if I didn't change the name servers I've deleted my account from the old hoster so I doubt any files are left there to show up.

guess the easiest way is to contact ur mate and get him to fix it
as it needs to be done in WHM in "Dns Zone Editor" Main >> DNS Functions >> Edit a DNS Zone and it doesnt sound like u got access to that
