    Default High load causing sites

I am new to cPanel and Linux world... could you please let me know how can I find the sites/scripts causing high load to the servers? I have found that at times there are high CPU usage and server became very slow. Services like EXIM, POP stops working.

    Any ideas / help?

There are two options in WHM:

    1. CPU/Memory/MySQL Usage
    2. show mysql processes.

You can keep watch on the processes running on server using ‘top –c’ command. Also, you can check the mail queue using ‘exim –bpc’ command.

    Thanks for your help

top –c is very handy. I loved that.

    Another query

When I run top -c, I see spamd child command (user mailnull) is eating CPU resources most of the time. Could you please tell me what is this? Is it okay?
