/home/user/mail/mailbox VS /home/user/mail/domain/mailbox

A while back cpanel changed the mail system so it no longer uses hard links to have mail at
/home/user/mail/mailbox
and
/home/user/mail/domain/mailbox
for the POP account mailbox@domain.

Some accounts still have users mail folders in both locations. It is safe to delete the /home/user/mail/mailbox folder right? Does it matter if they are deleted or not?

Hi,

Yes you can delete mail box from (/home/user/mail/mailbox) with out any problem.
