    Default /hometwo no quotas set

I can't get the quotas to work for new accounts installed in /hometwo . "Fixquotas" starts with a warning about a virtual file system. Eh ? what virtual file system ?. I set up quotas for /hometwo as fstab shows here:
    Code:
    /dev/sdc /hometwo ext3 defaults.usrquota 1 2
    And df-h shows its there;
    Code:
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
    /dev/sda8 1012M 611M 350M 64% /
    /dev/sda3 76M 17M 56M 23% /boot
    none 1004M 0 1004M 0% /dev/shm
    /dev/sda9 981M 30M 901M 4% /tmp
    /dev/sda5 9.7G 3.8G 5.4G 42% /usr
    /dev/sda6 9.7G 4.3G 4.9G 47% /var
    /dev/sda2 43G 19G 23G 46% /home
    /dev/sdb 68G 23G 46G 33% /dev/backup
    /dev/sdc 68G 18G 50G 26% /hometwo

    Default

    Is this a typo:

    defaults.usrquota

    IIRC it should be:

    defaults,usrquota

Apart from that, the script might not like the fact that you haven't created the partition with a number which is the normal way to do things:

    That is,

Use fdisk to create the partition /dev/sdc1

    mke2fs -j -L /hometwo /dev/sdc1

    Default

Chirpy, you must have Superman eyes
I had to enlarge that line several times before i could see the difference. Yes, i had put a dot instead of a comma between defaults and usrquota. Problem should be solved now thanks.
I didn't create the partition with a number as i wanted that drive as just one large partition.
