Default horde address books are missing after changing harddrives -- help!

    Hi,

We had to change harddrives a couple of days ago and found out today that customer's horde address books are missing from their hosting account.

Can someone please tell me the file to copy over for these?

    Thanks!
    Sincerely,
    Melinda

The address book stores in the Horde Database. You will have to restore the Horde database from the backup.

Are you receiving any error message? Kindly follow below mentioned steps and have a try:

    1. Login to your server through SSH as root user
    2. Execute the command /usr/local/cpanel/bin/updatehorde --force
    3. Watch for errors and return to horde

    Hi,

    No errors:

My client lost the extra folders he had setup in horde plus the emails they wanted to keep. I still have the old drive on my server but don't know what files to rsync.

For any other clients with this issue, this may be the resolution:

In the latest version of Horde, the default view for the address book is "Search". In previous versions, when you selected Address Book, it displayed the contacts, not the search utility.

Go to "Options" -> "Default Display Options" and select Address Book as the view to display by default.

You will then see the address book listed instead of the search function.

    Thanks.

The path is Address Book under "Organizing" and then Options at the top and "Default Display" to find the right Options link easier since there are so many of them in Horde.
