this host is not authorized to connect, or the key is invalid

hi, i am trying to set up my new vserver. but i am having trouble getting the DNS/bind to start..

if i try to start bind, i get the following message.
(with SSH and with cPanel):

rndc: connection to remote host closed This may indicate that the remote server is using an older version of the command protocol, this host is not authorized to connect, or the key is invalid.

can someone tell me what this KEY is? is there some password setting i need to set up?

You might try searching before you ask some questions, it will lead to a faster answer. This issue has been brought up many times. Look at http://www.hostinglife.com/ndc.php for a resolution.

i have corrected the problem.. after editing the etc/named.conf file, i had to fix it twice !!!
after the secind fix it worked!!!
