Hostname and mail server with different SSL certs

Hi,

I installed the two SSL certificates in WHM -> Service Configuration -> Manage Service SSL Certificates as below:

Exim (SMTP) Server: mail.maxsource.net
Courier (POP3) Mail Server: mail.maxsource.net
cPanel/WHM/Webmail Service: server3.maxsource.net
Courier (IMAP) Mail Server: mail.maxsource.net

That means, we only want to use server3.maxsource.net as our cPanel/WHM certificate, and all the mail services will use mail.maxsouce.net as the certificate.

However, when I set my Thunderbird, incoming server(POP3) as mail.maxsource.net and outgoing server(SMTP) as mail.maxsource.net, I got some problem with sending emails. I always get a warning says I have attempted to establish a connection with mail.maxsource.net, but the certificate belongs to server3.maxsource.net.

Then, I went to /etc, and ran
cp /etc/ssl/certs/mail.maxsource.net.crt /etc/exim.crt
cp /etc/ssl/private/mail.maxsource.net.key /etc/exim.key
/scripts/restartsrv_exim

But this didn't help any, I still got the warning about the two certificates.

Does anyone know how can I fix it?
Thanks a lot
