    Default How can i edit whm theme file?

    after i download my x theme of whm, it's a .gz file, how can i open and edit it? i know someone has did that before, but can't get in touch with him now. does anyone know how to do that? i want to edit some part of the x theme into chinese big5, so that my boss can use it. thanks a lot!

    You will have to extract the .gz file in your theme folder and then you can edit the them by login to your WHM --> Branding in cPanel Section --> click on Edit live of the theme which you would like to modify. For modification you can refer to below mentioned URL:

    The Branding editor affects the appearance of the cPanel interface, not the WHM interface. It would not be useful for modifying the WHM X theme.

    Modifying the WHM themes is a manual process at this time. Be sure to rename your WHM theme to something other than "X." If you just overwrite the existing WHM X theme, the next cPanel update will overwrite your customizations.

    yeah, i mean whm theme, not cpanel.

    i already find where to edit whm theme, thanks anyway.
