Default How can I redirect domain from one host to another using WHM’s "Edit DNS Zone" ?

    WHAT I HAVE:
Domain mydomain.xxx registered with domain registrar who doesn’t allow change NameServers or DNS management.

Old Host where my domain is already pointed, and its:
    IP is 111.111.111.111
    1st Name server: ns1.oldhost.com
    2nd Name server: ns2.oldhost.com
Also, I have WHM/cPanel with “Edit DNS Zone” function for mydomain.xxx DNS management, see attached image.

New Host where I need redirect my domain, and its:
    IP is 222.222.222.222
    1st Name server: ns1.newhost.com
    2nd Name server: ns2.newhost.com
I have WHM/cPanel with this host as well.

    THE PROBLEM I MUST SOLVE:
I need redirect completely mydomain.xxx domain fromOld Host to New Host by“Edit DNS Zone” of WHM/cPanel on Old Host.

I think this is possible easily, but what should I modify in mydomain.xxx “Edit DNS Zone” ?

I suggest you to contact your domain registrar to change the nameservers to point to your new servers. However, if you still want to change it from your old servers then you would need to change the A records and MX records in your old Edit DNS Zone to your New servers.

Note :: If you remove the doamin from your old server then your domain will not work as your nameserers are pointing to your old servers.

Thank you for reply, change domain registrar is impossible, this is very specific domain and has one registrar.

What you mean in change of MX record? are you talking about field 35?
    now it is:
    mydomain.xxx 14400 IN MX 0 mydomain.xxx

What can I write there instead of mydomain.xxx?

You just need to replace old IP's in your Edit DNZ zone (Old Server) to your New Server IP address.

You need edit the zone of mydomain.xxx on old server as follows.
    Code:
    mydomain.xxx IN A new_Server_IP
