how can install exim at server with cpanel

after i installed cpanel it appear to me

exim (packageeximisnotinstalled) failed

when i try to setup it useing /scripts/exim4

i found that error

Looks like you have a corrput RPM database, you are logged in as root I presume?

If so, try the following:

cd /var/lib/rpm/
rm -vf __db*
rpm --rebuilddb -v -v

Then try installing exim again.

If the rpm rebuild hangs, the quickest way to remedy that is to reboot the server and then follow the steps again (alternatively you need to use lsof to find processes that have the rpm database open and kill them).

how can i solve it ?

try to use the script eximup, cuz the exim4 is deprecated. I had the same problem and I fixed with this script.
