How to change timezone of server?

Hi, I am trying to change my timezone for my server. It is running on Central time and I am trying to change to Pacific time.

I have made the correct changes in WHM under Main >> Server Configuration >> Server Time
And sync time with server. But I still seem to be running on Central time. What am I doning wrong? Any suggestions?

Check your $TZ environment. Either issuing `echo $TZ` in shell or in php will do.
