How do access Awstats from Outside the control panel?

I'm trying to find out how I can change it so that I can access Awstats from outside the control panel. Can anyone tell me how to modify it or point me in the right direction?

I am moving from an old Ensim server to cPanel and I am used to having the stats like this:

http://www.domain.com/awstats

which would forward it to the cgi-bin url.

How can I modify it to work like this?

I dont think you can do this by using existing cPanel awstats installation files.
You may need to install awstats from scratch on the specific domain.

Maybe one cPanel tech can give you further instructions.

It is possible. From memory i believe you use a soft link from within public_html to the awstats files in /home/username/stats? (I'm unsure of the name of the stats folder in username).
