How do I prevent word press cron jobs from running on the server

The cpu load keeps spiking and I suspect word press crons are the problem.

My question is-
How do I prevent word press cron jobs from running on the server
without me going into everyone's word press installation and removing the cron jobs?

Any chance this will solve the problem?
I could put the word ALL in /etc/cron.deny and
then create /etc/cron.allow
and put in the users that I want to be able to run cron jobs in cron.allow.

I removed crond from the default "feature list" in the whm.
But
I am thinking that this only effects the ability to add new cron jobs using their cpanel.

I am also wondering if this removes all the existing cpanel created cron jobs
(they do not have ssh access - and they can no longer create new cron jobs using cpanel

Hello,

Removing crond from the feature list in WHM won't remove existing cron jobs that are already in place, it will only prevent users from creating new ones and altering old ones.

The creation of /etc/cron.allow and /etc/cron.deny will prevent the execution of existing cronjobs for the users who are denied access.

Existing cron jobs set up through panel are not a problem.
Will creating /etc/cron.allow and /etc/cron.deny stop cron jobs set up through wordpress?
