how do i upgrade to the latest phpmyadmin version

cant figure it out how to upgrade to the latest phpmyadmin via whm, or does someone have a link to instructions i can follow to do via ssh.

It comes in with cPanel updates.

Latest stable is, 2.6.1 from http://www.phpmyadmin.net

cPanel, (mine is) running 2.6.1-rc1

however my phpmyadmin is at 2.6.1-rc1

i need to upgrade to at least phpmyadmin 2.6.1-pl3

so we basically have to wait for cpanel to release with 2.6.1-pl3 or later?

Yeah if you want to use the one that Cpanel provides.

The reason they are usually a little behind is because they need to test it themselves and then release it into the edge tree and have it filter down.

Is there a security problem that you want to change from rc1 to pl3?

Usually they will move faster if there is a major security flaw in a product.
